Binggrae brought an exciting photo-taking experience to the event with an interactive AR Photobooth, where users could choose and experience 6 AR Filters inspired by the brand's familiar products.
Combining AR Face Tracking, AR Body Tracking, 3D Animation, and Gesture Detection, Marvy developed an experience that allows users to directly interact with AR objects, pose, and automatically capture their moments.
Notably, the entire experience was developed as an offline application and installed directly on a touchscreen photobooth, making it suitable for event environments and ensuring a seamless user flow from start to photo retrieval.

AR Face & Body Tracking
Interactive Photobooth Application
UI/UX Integration
Photo Capture & QR Code
Instead of simply adding product images to the frame, Marvy transformed the unique characteristics of each Binggrae product into fun and easily interactive AR elements.
Users can choose one of 6 filters corresponding to 6 products:
Binggrae Banana Milk
Strawberry Milk
Melon Milk
Melon Ice Cream
Soda Ice Cream
Binggrae Fish-shaped Ice Cream

Each filter was built with a unique visual, combining details such as hats, glasses, apparel, and moving 3D objects around the user.
The assets didn't just appear statically on the screen; they were also designed with movements like flying, rotating, shaking, and scripted motion, giving users the feeling they were truly stepping into a dedicated AR space for each product.
The experience was designed to be simple, intuitive, and easy to operate, allowing users to complete the entire process independently right at the photobooth.

Users tap the screen and select Start.
6 icons representing 6 Binggrae products appear on the screen. Users select their favorite filter.
After selection, the system activates the corresponding filter. AR assets appear around the user and move according to the script.
Users pose and perform actions as instructed. The system detects movement and automatically triggers the photo capture.
The newly captured image is displayed for user preview.
Users can choose to retake or confirm the image.
The image is uploaded to the server, and the system generates a QR Code for users to scan and download the photo directly to their phones.

One of the project's highlights is that the entire AR experience was developed as an offline application, installed directly on the photobooth device.
This allows users to interact directly with AR via the photobooth's touchscreen and camera, rather than having to access a social media platform or download a separate application.
Marvy utilized AR Face Tracking technology to recognize faces and accurately position AR accessories such as hats, glasses, and related visuals.

AR Body Tracking technology was integrated to identify body position, thereby displaying 2D apparel layers on the user and ensuring visuals followed movements.

AR assets were programmed to appear and move around the user according to specific scenarios. This created an interactive experience rather than simply applying a static filter layer.

The system is capable of recognizing user actions to automatically trigger photo capture, making the experience more natural and reducing the need for users to constantly interact with the screen.

To create 6 distinct experiences, Marvy undertook the design and animation of 3D asset systems corresponding to each Binggrae product line.
The assets were built according to the campaign's concept, then optimized for the AR and photobooth environment to ensure performance during operation.

Assets flying around the user
Rotation and shaking
Scripted movement
Adhering to body positions
Integration with 2D elements provided by the client
The combination of 3D assets, 2D graphics, and real-time tracking ensured each filter had its unique visual while maintaining consistency with Binggrae's brand identity.

After completing the experience, users could review their photos and choose to retake them if not satisfied.
Once the image was confirmed, the system would:
The image was uploaded to the server and a corresponding QR Code was generated, allowing users to easily scan with their phones and save the image after the experience.
Thus, the photobooth moment wasn't just limited to the direct experience but could also be taken home and shared on personal platforms.

With the Binggrae AR Photobooth, Marvy combined AR Tracking, 3D Animation, interactive technology, and a photobooth application to transform event photo-taking into an engaging interactive experience.
From 6 Binggrae products, Marvy developed 6 AR Filters with unique visuals and movements, allowing users to choose, interact, pose, and save their moments.
More than just a photobooth, this was Binggrae's way of bringing familiar products into a fun and memorable AR experience.
